I have been trying to find a stainless steel twirl whisk to replace my old, rusting one for quite some time. Inexpensive ones are very hard to find. The only thing I wish this product had is an open bottom - makes chunkier items easier to knock out. I know you aren't supposed to use twirls for such things, but I was brought up on a twirl whisk and find the others more difficult to use. The Amazon price was a steal compared to a similar item at a local cooking store - they wanted $20, which is what prompted me to check out alternatives on Amazon.
This is great for puddings and sauces. I find it much easier to keep the mixture smooth and not sticking, and thus burning, to the bottom of the pan.
I would recommend this item to anyone looking for an inexpensive, yet good quality, twirl whisk. Combine it with other items and get the free shipping to keep your price down.
