I've found this knife holder much better than the wooden block we had, especially for the eclectic collection of knives we have. It's very strong and fairly good looking, nothing stunning. You have to drill it into the wall which is somewhat of a pain but thats about the only downside and I see no alternative.Customer Review: Very functional and looks great!! I love it!!

I really, really like this knife holder. It was easy to put up and looks great on my kitchen backsplash. It's long enough to hold all my knifes (about 8). I bought this product because I don't have a lot of space to store knives and I LOVE the food network. I've often seen magnetic knife holders used on their shows. I love this one. When I redid my kitchen recently I decided the old wooden magnetic knife holders weren't worth remounting and am I glad I made that decision. study, attractive knife holder. I also have my scissors, and hand operated can opener up there. Nothing has fallen off.
the shiny surface is easy to scratch as you have to carefully remove the items. they are stuck on there!
I am pleased with this purchase.
