I bought a set of these about 1.5 years ago, then decided to get my mother a set for her birthday a few months ago. The quality is now a 1/4 of what is was before - the weight and spot welds of these cups no longer justify their price. That's a pity - because at one point in time these were very well made. If I catch MIU abusing their brand on another product, I'll be done with them completely.
In the mean time, I recommend that you pass on these measuring cups.

I love to bake but hate to reuse a cup for measuring if don't have to. I have always wanted 1/8, 2/3, and 3/4 cup measurements available in the measuring cup sets but few provide them. This set is heavy duty and will last a long time. I do not like plastic measuring cups because measuring shortening in them leaves them greasy and hard to wash. I am not putting my new stainless steel set in the dishwasher. I am very pleased with the set even though it is a bit pricey.Customer Review: Really Nice!!

To start, my package got here pretty quickly with standard shipping through regular postal service during the Christmas rush, so I'm very happy about that.
I haven't used these yet as they're part of a gift for my husband, but upon inspection, they're really beautiful. They're also nice and heavy; great quality. I don't imagine we'll be replacing these any time soon. I would recommend these to anyone who's looking for a really nice set of measuring cups.

This is a good set of measuring cups. I love the sizes and the straight sides don't pose any difficulties for me. I took a star off because they aren't as high a quality as I had expected. They are thinnner and lighter than I thought they would be and I've (so far) treated them with more care than I otherwise might. The only thing I really worry about is the handles. They are quite long and I expect that at some point they will get bent or broken off entirely.Customer Review: These cups will last forever

After having plastic measuring cups melted in the dishwasher or trying to guess which size cups I was using after the labels wore off, I wanted to get a nice set of measuring cups.
I love this measuring cup set. The steel is thick and sturdy. The cups have a nice heft and quality and really making baking more enjoyable. My cups have gone through the dishwasher about 20 times and still look brand new. I am expecting these cups to last forever.
