These are basic plastic cutting mats - easy to store & easy to clean.
I had to replace my original flexible cutting boards, and the 4-for-3 deal and other reviewers' comments convinced me to choose this set.
We are quite happy with these cutting boards. They flex just fine for our cooking needs (and flex just like my old mats). We hand wash & store the mats on their sides with our skillets. I'm using 2 now & saving the rest for later (I don't follow the color coordinating food prep program - I just wash the mat I'm using or use the 2nd one if I prep raw food).
They took a little longer to ship from Amazon because they were back-ordered. Priced well, they were worth the wait.

I got these when they were on sale for $4.99, and at that price, I am satisifed with the product. They are a little thinner than my prior plastic cutting mats, and I don't expect these will last as long. I use the plastic mats over a wooden cutting board which provides cushioning to the plastic & the knives.
These mats are not particularly flexible, and flexability would be helpful to funnel chopped chopped vegetables into a pan.
At their current $8.99 price, I would suggest buying a better, cheaper product at Ikea if you have one close.

We buy these with the buy 4 pay for 3 promotion, because otherwise, they end up being a little pricey for something that's more or less disposable. It's not going to last you a good long time, because it's about the thickness of card stock paper (maybe a little thicker). In other words, if you're using this on your hard counter, it's going to destroy your knives. Instead, set it atop a heavier cutting board, and use it like a covering for the wood so that you don't get the nicer cutting board all gashed up. The multiple colors are ideal for use with different foods. I will mark each of the five with my own code using a permanent marker under one corner (ex. "v" for veggies, "b" for breads, "m" for red meats, "p" for poultry, etc.) I am using the "mats" over my wooden cutting boards and am happy with the product. I intended to buy a second set and two sets of another product for my daughter and me, qualifying the free shipping. Alas, as a new buyer, I goofed when using for the One Click purchasing option and paid a $5.58 shipping fee, for the $9.95 product.Customer Review: Ehh, It's 10 bucs. Good for camping.

Great portability and low cost. For 10 bucks these work OK. They work perfect for fruit and veggies. They do have a curling problem and slide around when cutting large things such as chicken or roasts. They are also a little small. If you carve whole chickens into pieces you will not like these very much. I'll stick to my large, heavy wood board for large items.
They do work great for camping. I'd get them again for that reason alone. Space in a camping box is always a premium and these fit the bill!
