Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Luminarc Quadro 2-Liter Glass Pitcher with LidCustomer Review: Fragile... in the extreme Summary: 1 Stars
I bought two of these to hold water in my refrigerator rather than using plastic. Unfortunately, the glass is "paper" thin and simple accidental "taps" wound up shattering them both. The first broke within two weeks, then even knowing this and being extra careful with the second one - that too just broke this morning.
I'd avoid this product entirely.
Customer Review: pour slowly Summary: 3 Stars
the glass is nice and thick but the pour spout is a bit iffy. If you pour too quickly, the liquid goes down the side of the pitcher and you end up with more on the counter than in the glass. The cheap plastic caps are a joke...threw those out. A silicone ring would make them much better. Almost seems like the caps were not even made for the pitcher at all.
Customer Review: OK Size - Poor Lid Summary: 2 Stars
I purchased this pitcher from a local store. This does not work at all for my family. The indentations for your hand become slippery and the lid is horrible! It does not stay in place whatsoever. If it isn't positioned just right, the water spills all over - which is frustrating for anyone who uses it! I wouldn't recommend this pitcher for anyone!
Customer Review: Good Size! Summary: 4 Stars
Perfect size/shape to store in the 'fridge door. Heavy duty glass keeps beverages cool. One thing to improve would be to somehow put a protective cover onto the side "handle" so that it can be easily be picked up when filled with hot liquid. You either have to wait for the liquid/bottle to cool or use a mitt which can be slippery.
Customer Review: Standard Glass Pitcher Summary: 3 Stars
This is a nice looking/functional beverage pitcher. However, I've noticed that on occasion when pouring juice or whatever, it has a tendency to "drip" or "spill" around the edges of the opening and outside the pouring spout. When this happens, it makes a mess on the counter. I'm kinda disappointed with that aspect of the pitcher.
