Worked just as well as my Great Grandmother's pan from Denmark. Even though this pan is preseasoned, my Grandmother's pan was a little more seasoned and worked a little better (I used them both together at the same time). But you can't really compare a very well seasoned, 50+ year old cast iron pan to a new pan. In time, this pan will be perfect. Great pan.Customer Review: Love it!

I bought this as an alternative to the Pancake Puff pan as that product did not have favorable reviews. I'm glad I did. I love this pan. It's super easy to use, super easy to clean and we all love the puffs we've made. This is a high quality product I would certainly recommend. I used the pan primarily to make poffertjes, just because I like the taste better. After the first use, the food never sticks. And I figured out that cold water is really a no no. Hot water, paper towel, and a little bit of oil is the way to go. It's quite a bit more expensive than other brands, but I'm happy with it.Customer Review: What is an Aebleskiver?

Well, chances are you already know the answer to that if you are looking at this item. If you don't, it's sort of an apple doughnut hole. They are delicious! I bought this pan over the others displayed because it appeared to be the most durable, and thus far has fulfilled my expectations. My girls and I have had great fun making Aebleskivers, and this pan does an excellent job. It came seasoned, which was nice, and so long as you use a bit of butter every third batch or so, nothing sticks and they come out fantastic.
My best results have come from thinned out Swedish pancake mix.
