Including recipes for this pan would be very helpful. I haven't tried aebleskivers yet, but it's great for muffins, cornbread, cupcakes and brownies! If you think "this is too expensive for a one use pan", think outside the box. Cast iron is the most versatile cookware out there-- This could also be used to roast a small amount of meat (the cups catch the drippings). For the complaints about "it sticks", ALL cast iron sticks at first. You have to season it several times and spray generously with Pam before it becomes truly non-stick.Customer Review: Works Just as Promised

I was promised a aebleskiver breakfast all I had to do was find the aebleskiver pan. I got tired of trying to explain what an aebleskiver was to various sales people so I went to Amazon and just a few days later a box shows up at my front door. The pan was just what it said it would be, out of the box and a quick wash and it was cooking breakfast. I try to be a little skeptical with ratings especially highly rated items but in this case they were very accurate. I plan on many years of use from this wonderful little piece of cast iron.Customer Review: Addictive Christmas Treat!

We bought this pan to enjoy aebelskiver for the Christmas season. The pan is perfection and our first aebelskivers were amazing. We served them with mulled wine & red fruit jam. We just used a yeast-raised Belgian waffle batter to which we added cinnamon, cardamom and mace. Nothing stuck because we sprayed it with a little Pam - and the pan made cookbook-picture treats immediately. The aebelskivers didn't even have a chance to cool. We devoured them instantly. This Aebleskiver pan does double duty in our house. First, of course, it does wonderful aebleskivers. However, I do not make them all of the time but I do make muffins quite often so the pan also serves as a little muffin pan. The pan will hold one package of muffin mix like a Martha White and it will get you seven nice little golden-crusted muffins. My son calls what comes out "cute little mushroom muffins." With a little practice, you can whip up a batch of delicious pancakes in no time. Practice, because the first batch I made had too much batter which overflowed and the second batch was overdone because the pan retains heat so like any cast iron product additional batches need less heat. Experimented with temperature and portions; third batch was a winner! Couldn't be easier to clean and it arrived preseasoned so you can start cooking right out of the box. Highly recommended.
