This pan is superb! I debated about getting a pizza stone, but I went with this Lodge pan due to the reviews. I've used it to make pizzas and bread so far and it cooks everything evenly, giving a beautiful crust. I find it shaves a few minutes off of baking times so I have to watch it. This is the second time we've purchased this cast iron pan; the first was at a Lodge outlet in Georgia. It was on special, advertised as a pizza pan, but we've never used it for pizza. It makes a great cookie sheet, and my husband loves to use it in the grill for vegetables. We lost the first one on a trip - had to get another.Customer Review: Perfect for general baking

I intend to use this pan only for baking, never for pizzas, and it has never disappointed. I like how it is stronger than any stainless steel baking sheet, will retain its shape, and is sized to handle most baking needs.
I recommend this pan for general baking use as an alternative to stainless steel baking pans.

This cast iron pizza pan has no competition. It stands alone as the premier way to cook pizza. It's also a great way to keep delivered pizza warm. Other uses include oven roasted potatoes, corn, etc. We have two of these, and have given several to friends and family as gifts (who usually buy a second one as well)!Customer Review: One word: SUPERB

Best pizza pan by far. And I should know, I've had several, including one of those round stones. Great baking, nonstick and like all cast iron, should last forever. One nice thing is the lip of the pan, no more pizza sauce or cheese spills. If you need one (or two) this is it, you'll never need another one.
