Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Lodge Pro Logic 12-Inch Round GriddleCustomer Review: Almost perfect Summary: 4 Stars
This griddle comes preseasoned and is reasonably nonstick out of the box. After a few uses and more seasoning it's become quite nonstick.
While the pan cooks excellent pancakes, eggs, and so on, on my plain, old electric range the edges of the pan do not get hot. This leaves an area about 8" round in the middle where things cook. Bacon was not successful as the ends of the bacon strips didn't cook. I think with a different stove, either with gas (where the hot gas will flow along most of the bottom of the pan) or a more modern electric range with bigger burners, this wouldn't be an issue. The fault is with the low thermal diffusivity of cast iron itself, not with the manufacture.
I am selling mine to a friend with a gas stove and am going to find a smaller square griddle (not nonstick though) instead. I am rating it 4 stars for how well it cooks where it's hot enough.
Customer Review: great all around griddle Summary: 5 Stars
Had one already, and a friend was so impressed that they wanted one too. No longer made by logic, found it here at amazon, fast shipping, and was using it a week after I ordered it.
