These handle mitts work great! I can leave them on while I'm cooking on the stovetop and I can move the pots perfectly. And, if I am getting a pot from the oven, I slide it on prior to lifting; it works great! I tried the silicone ones, but didn't like them...they seemed to slip around the handles.Customer Review: Works great

I feel no heat through this when I use it. I leave it on while I'm cooking on the stove top so I don't accidentally grab the horribly hot handle, and this thing is cool as a cucumber. I have several and love them! I have not tested the cheaper ones in the two pack, but these are reasonably priced.Customer Review: ramsam

I got a set of two each for my mom and I. We purchased the cook's essential skillets from a shopping network. The skillets have a stainless steel handle (for use in the oven) and these handle mitts are perfect!! No more singed hands or fingers. i mean if your not a moron when you use it, and use common sense it ll do the job.
i can grab things on the stove top or outta the oven with it no problem.
if your concerned, just use a towel or mitt as something extra.
easy cheesy.

I use these for the handles on all my Logic cast iron ware. They are great!! I have never had one scorch, but maybe that's because I really don't use my cast iron on very high heat. So far, they have never become too hot to the point that I have felt the heat through to my hand.
