This is one skillet I use over and over again. I was a little hesitant about using a square shaped pan as far as cleaning out the corners, but Lodge's products are always pre-seasoned so well this hasn't been an issue at all. The high sides are great for cooking dishes that have sauces. I love it and highly recommend this pan as a great all purpose skillet.Customer Review: Just right.

Got exactly what I ordered. Got it when it was promised. Good product, good shipping (free, by the way). The only confusing thing is why two pans (10"x10"x3") were shipped in a box that was too big for them and included a ridiculous amount of packing material??? I am a big fan of cast iron, but the shape of this pan is not conducive to cooking over a burner. By nature of its shape, you tend to get a hot spot in the middle, and cool areas in the corners. (This is because the flame is round). You would be better off getting a round skillet instead.Customer Review: A lot more than cornbread can be cooked in this pan

This pan is often marketed as a "cornbread skillet", and it IS great for cornbread. But it really should be called an "everything skillet", since really, what can't you cook in it? It can be used on the stovetop as a skillet, or the oven as a roasting pan.Customer Review: Nice Pan

Very happy with this pan great for corn bread or pineapple upside down cake. Love the quality, Lodge is the way to go. I have lots of cast iron and this makes a nice addition. If you don't have this one get it and the 12 inch makes a nice set.
