I grew up using cast iron and as an adult in my own home did not have any cast iron pieces. Once I saw the pre-seasoned items here I decided to try them. I have been very pleased with this skillet, especially with the two handles. Cast iron is heavy and it's great having that other little handle to grab. Cooks like a dream and is easy to clean. Soak with some hot water (remember no soap!) and give it a light coating of oil once dry.Customer Review: My Favorite Pan

I'm SO happy with this pan! I also have a complete set of Circulon pans but this one is the one I use the most. It sears beautifully, browns evenly, and cleans up easily with just hot water. I haven't had to scour it even once. It takes very little effort to maintain the seasoning in the pan and it's totally worth it. I LOVE my pan and plan on adding pieces as possible. Lodge makes some great cast iron products. We use this skillet for all sorts of things. Make sure to keep it seasoned, something that you can find loads of information about on the web. This one comes pre-seasoned, but you need to maintain that layer on it to keep it in good condition. Depending on what you are cooking this will be easy. This is one great skillet! Right out of the packaging, it was as nonstick as every other pan I own. Only issue, though not a complaint, is that it took some training to avoid touching the handle. Unlike most cookware, this skillet heats everything evenly, right through the cast iron handle. Beyond that, and getting used to the extra weight associated with cast iron pans, this item is well worth the minimal cost!Customer Review: Love It, Love It, Love It

What a versitile piece of kitchen equipment. This is my first piece of non-enameled cast iron to use and I can't say enough good things about it. It sears beautifully, bakes well (made corn bread) and makes about the best bacon I have EVER eaten. The finish was not quite non stick for my tastes out of the box but I continued to season per the instructions and within a week of use it was fantastic. GREAT PAN!
