This had to be the cook pot of choice for early settlers. It is designed to stand in a fire and also have fire coals on its top, or hang over an open fire. As a survivorlist I am delighted to have this in my survival kit and in my kitchen.

i have used it twice so far and if you follow the instructions with it not a problem at all..bought it for camping with my Grandson in the scouts ..i almost wish i had bought the 12 inch but have other pan that will work...Customer Review: This is the BEST!

My family and I went camping last weekend and used this dutch oven to cook potatoes, chili and vegetables in it and the lid makes perfect eggs. This will pretty much cook everything! Definitey worth the $$$
