Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Lodge Logic 3-Quart Covered Chicken Fryer, BlackCustomer Review: Not Just For Chicken! Summary: 5 Stars
I think cast iron skillets are a necessity in every kitchen. I love mine. I make everything in it,from stews and roasts to steaks. I always buy the skillets with the tips on the lid. It really helps keep the food moist and delicious. Also, the pre-seasoned feature on this pan is fantastic! Well seasoned cast irons last forever! In fact, I still have and use my grandmother's pans. All around a great deal, I highly recommend this product.
Customer Review: Lodge cast iron is super! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this skillet because it is deeper. I have other Lodge skillets but to fry chicken, a deeper skillet works better. I love my cast iron. I find it easy to clean, which surprised me as I used to buy the enameled cast iron thinking it to be much easier to clean. However, the enameled cast iron started to chip over time so I went with the basic cast iron and have been quite pleased with the ease of cleaning.
Customer Review: Best chicken and pork chops Summary: 5 Stars
I love the depth of this skillet, it's big enough to deep-fry in! And nothing can beat cast iron for even heat. If I could only have one skillet, it would be this one! My family loves the pork chops I make in this skillet, starting them on the top of the stove, finishing up covered in the oven. I sent my daughter one for Christmas and she ran out to buy pork chops the minute she opened the box! This is a winner.
Customer Review: A must have! Summary: 5 Stars
Wish I had got this a long time back instead of spending a fortune on all those expensive non-sticks and all! This is a great buy esp with the pre seasoned coating its just awesome. Cleaning is very easy! Trust me ...I have a huge cast iron skillet, griddle and this one. So if it's not worth it I would let know rt away. I would certainly recommend the Lodge cookware to anyone.
Customer Review: for over 40 years Summary: 5 Stars
I have had this pan for over 40 years and it is still the best pan in my pantry. It has done all sorts of duty from going camping and cooking over a log fire to the best chili pan ever made. for two years it served as a birdbath in the back yard then I came back to my senses and brought it back into the kitchen and it hold a place of honor among the pans as the best on there.
