Customer Review: great pan, but not 12"

We have a 10 1/2" low cast iron tortilla pan, that we would often fry on. Problem was grease would often disperse in the surrounding area. We thought something a little bigger with sides would be perfect. We could then put a splatterscreen on top, as well.
...ordered the pan and was able to use it right awaybecause it was preseasoned. It cooked great! It seemed just as (if not more) cramped for the amount of food cooked, though. I measured it and sure enough the cooking/heating area is less then my 10 1/2 low cast iron pan and to be honest the flat pan is easier to handle and turn food over. I really needed the 15" pan. I will call Amazon, but am not sure how they respond to exchange on a used once pan?
So do your homework. It is 1 1/2 inches less then stated, and I will not use the overused cliche to descibe the disappointment.
