Description of Lodge Color Enamel 4-1/4-Quart Roaster, Caribbean Blue
This 4-1/4-quart color enamel roaster is great for roasting meats as well as vegetables. Lodge color porcelain enamel on cast iron cookware is cast from molten iron in individual sand molds. The porcelain surface eliminates the need to season cast iron. The cast iron vessel has superior heat distribution and retention, evenly heating bottom, sidewalls and even the lid. Two layers of very hard, glossy porcelain enamel are chip resistant and easy to clean. Hygienic porcelain enamel is non-reactive with food. Knob is oven safe to 400-degree. Tightly fitting lid seals in moisture and the excellent heat retention reduces the amount of energy needed for cooking. Hand washing with warm soapy water is recommended to preserve the cookware's original appearance. 17 by 10-5/16 by 2-1/4 Caribbean blue.With its lively palette and durable construction, the Color line from Lodge is great for everything from main dishes to desserts.
