Ordered this lid and the 5 quart dutch oven a couple weeks before Christmas. When it arrived and opened it the lid was in the same box as the dutch oven with no packing material. Needless to say the lid was shattered. Blame it on the holiday help Amazon hired, and there lack of experience . Anyways I sent it back and Amazon shipped me out a new one super fast! It's perfect for my 12" skillet, no more aluminum foil needed and I can see the food cooking so I don't have to peel the foil back.
