Customer Review: Same problem with adhesive, plastic bottles react with spices

I also have the same spice rack and I am currently looking for a replacement. As with the other reviewers' spice racks, the adhesive on the back of the bottles comes away from the bottles so I always seem to have one or two that have fallen off. I have tried to re-glue a number of them but I don't seem to be using the right glue. At the moment, six bottles are currently sitting next to the rack because of the adhesive coming off.
Another problem is that the plastic seems to react with some of the spices, particularly the nutmeg and cloves. I think that the essential oils in these two spices react with the plastic, and they have gone white and there are bubbles in them.
It is difficult to remove the tops to replace the spices and I have the feeling I will break the bottle during the refilling process.
Also, my green herbs tend to discolour in the bottles. I put in dried chives and parsely some time ago and they are now light yellow. I don't know if this is from standing on the counter all day (although the rack is never in direct sunlight) or that the plastic is not the best for herbs and spices and somehow is responsible for the loss of colour.
