I love this book light, it is my second. I really loved my first one. it had two levels of brightness. this one only has 1 but is still a good product. Just a little bright some times. With the first one if I woke up in the middle of the night unable to sleep I could turn the light down and read. This one is too bright for that, It hurts your eyes if you try to turn it on after waking late at night.Customer Review: Don't Buy this book light

This is a poorly designed product. As other reviewers have noted, the light is "wavy" and thus distracting. Also the light is NOT very bright. Even in a pitch dark room the light is not really bright enough for reading. Turning the pages and re-positioning the light makes for a cumbersome process. Reading is supposed to be an enjoyable activity. LightWedge turns it into a chore. Save your money.Customer Review: Not so clear and star light star bright

There is not too much to say about the paperback version of this product; it is difficult to hold in place to a degree.
Most importantly though is the plastic has many imperfections, like small bubbles and marks inside.
Next is the light that comes through; it is a star effect you could say. It is streams of light, not just all light.
Not a product to buy,

I found this at the local bookstore, and after seeing reviews, I was very optimistic. But after getting it home and turning it on, I was very disappointed. It was unusable! I tried on different books, and it was consistently poor in terms of lighting, and I could see the text from the previous page.
A good idea, in theory, but it doesn't work.

I like to read in bed at night but my wife likes to have the bedroom completely dark when she is trying to sleep.
The light wedge gives just enough light to enable me to read without disturbing her sleep. The size is perfect and covers the entire page of a standard paperback.
This little gem just may have saved my marriage.
