I don't use the LightWedge, but this case is the perfect size to secure my Kindle 1 and my Kindle 2, both in covers. I have Oberon leather covers for both my Kindles, and the Kindle in the cover fits well in this case. If you keep your Kindle in your purse, backpack, picnic basket, or beach bag, this case will protect it from moisture, spills, dust or anything that might scratch your screen. Case is attractive and good quality; faux suede on the outside; soft chamois-like fabric on the inside. Zips in either direction and three-fourths of the way around, so you can leave it mostly zipped and still have access for the charger; or keep it zipped up while still using the headphones. IF YOU HAVE THE LIGHT WEDGE LightWedge Reading Light ORIGINAL YOU NEED THE CASE TO KEEP IT CLEAN AND READY FOR USE. BE SURE TO GET THE CORRECT SIZE AND DO NOT OPEN YOUR LIGHT WEDGE UNTIL YOU CAN KEEP IT CLEAN IN A CASE. THE CASE IS SOFT INSIDE NAD HELPS TO KEEP THE SHEET OF PLASTIC CLEAR AND NON SCRATCHED. It is a very nice case, but didn't receive what I ordered. I purchased an Original LightWedge Soft Case, but instead received a paperback size LightWedge Soft Case. I was very disappointed and had to reorder from another seller. I thought I ordered the wrong item, but realized I didn't. I ordered this bag to protect my light wedge from scratching. Unfortunately, I still wound up with several scratches even though I was extremely careful with my Lightwedge. The bag fit perfectly but just didn't offer enough protection. I would still order it if you are going to order the Lightwedge though. I love this book light! I use it nearly every night, it doesn't fall off the book, all I have to do is lift it while I turn the page and lay it back down. It illuminates the entire page and doesn't bother my husband. The batteries last a long time and are easy to change. It has changed my reading life!
