This Lightwedge was a replacement for one I've been using for about 5 years that finally gave out. This new one is just like the old one but with a bit different on-off switch. It's a great size and the light is strong - just remember to replace the batteries when the light starts getting weak. I use is almost every night. This has been the best investment for my kids! They don't mind reading in bed anymore because they can actually see the whole page and don't have to readjust the light. it serves as a great bookmark as well. I bought the hardcover and the paperback sizes so that the kids can share and have flexibility. That has worked out great!Customer Review: LightWedge Original

Overall, I love my Wedge. I can read at night and not bother my husband! Probably it's #1 benefit. It's down falls are that I wish it gave off just a little more light and it scratches easily. did not impress her all that much, as she still reads

My husband bought this as part of my Valentine's day gift since I always read at night when he's trying to sleep. lol! The light doesn't disturb him and it's definately bright enough for me to be able to read by. The only thing I don't like is it's kind of too big for me. I'd rather get the smaller one.
