I have not had a problem with the glasses being fragile as some others have mentioned. I usually purchase from Crate & Barrel, but I will become a stay at home mom in a couple months, so I scaled back purchase prices on needed items. These are sturdy and attractive. They're not the most delicate design, but very modern and not too plain. For the price, I don't know what people expect when they write about "the bottom falling off" after they "drop them on the ground" or "use them in the microwave." They aren't coffee mugs. I've broken two of these glasses in less than a month, most recently tonight when I picked up the larger glass full of milk and the entire bottom fell out. The glass I broke previously didn't take much effort either. Be careful with these glasses -- they may look like a substantial glass, but they're very delicate.Customer Review: Need to be thicker glass

I have had them about 4 months now. They tend to break in half when I put them under the ice dispenser of my fridge. So you stand there looking at half a glass wondering where the hell the rest went. Sad yet kind of entertaining in a weird way as you never know when it will happen only that it will. 4 down so far.
