My husband uses this sushi mat to create vegetarian sushi rolls. He loves it! Before getting this mat, his sushi rolls looked like burritos. He says this mat helps to make the rolls really tight which makes them easier to cut. I understand the negatives that some other reviewers have noted, but unless you are a master sushi chef and/or plan to make hundred of rolls a day, you can't do better than this little gem. Definitely the right choice for the novice/home sushi maker.Customer Review: Sushi Mat

I have used a bamboo sushi mat for years, and they can be difficult to clean. This version offers an easy clean of silicon but retains the feel of a traditional bamboo version. Sushi rice does not stick to it during use either.Customer Review: The rice doesn't stick

This is a great product and it has made the sushi-making process bit easier and less messy. This is much better than using those bamboo mats.
