I just bought one of these to add to a gift basket for a friend. Honestly, this is the most used item in our kitchen. I use it for everything from scrambled eggs and simmer sauces to scraping the sides of hot soup pots and dutch ovens. The wooden handle is just staring to show some wear and tear and I've had it for five (or more) years. The spatula portion is still in perfect condition which is pretty great since I send it through the dishwasher on an almost daily basis. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
