Just received these this week. Made french onion soup and did not burn myself when I removed hot crocks from the oven!. I love that I had excellent control when removing something small from the oven and am looking forward to using them for various uses. Perfect as coaster: the silicon neither sticks to the glass nor the furniture. If they get dirty, simply throw them in the dishwasher. Cannot be more durable or practical. Only negative point: I wish they would come in "softer" colors, but this cannot outweigh how functional they are.Customer Review: Silicone set
