Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron 6-3/4-Quart Wide French Oven, Cherry RedCustomer Review: Five stars indeed! Summary: 5 Stars
How can a proper pot make all the difference in the world in the taste of a meal?? Try one of these enamel pots and you will see. I use medium heat as suggested. I use a good cooking oil and a pat of butter to brown meat, onions, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. just like the savvy TV cooks advise. The resulting good flavor of the finished product is a huge improvement over using thinner pans. Bite the bullet or save your pennies but do not deprive yourself of the joy of what this pan can produce.
Do be careful about what you think you are ordering on Amazon. I have noticed that if you change the color of some pots, you may also be changing the shape of it. I have read posts of some very unhappy people who may have gotten caught up in this listing error.
Customer Review: My Favorite Pot in the Kitchen! Summary: 5 Stars
I waited forever before I finally broke down and bought my first Le Creuset. I finally gave in and just hoped that it was money well spent. Well, I have not regretted my decision for a second. Not only does this pot look great just sitting out for display on the stove, but it cooks like a dream. I use it for so many dishes, and clean up is a breeze. If you've been shy about getting one, don't be. It's a sound and safe investment -- not like one you might make via Wall Street!
Customer Review: Love it so far Summary: 5 Stars
I've had the pan for a couple of weeks now. It arrived in perfect condition, and has performed wonderfully on my electric stovetop. Just what I expected from Le Creuset.
