Customer Review: Cobalt Le Creuset Lover since 1973

I bought a large collection of Le Creuset in cobalt after graduating from Ohio University and landing my first real job at the newly formed EPA. I have been collecting it ever since and recently purchased the 7.5 qt round French Oven. My husband is an Executive Chef and prefers All Clad for many applications but I love my cast iron. I don't have to spend hours scrubbing my pans with a stainless steel scrubber as a few wipes with a nylon pad will clean any mess.
I use every piece including the round grill to make panini sandwiches. Why buy an expensive grill when this pan does the job quite well? I also like my old wood handled pans but the are not available new. My next pan will be a cobalt tagine.

Cast iron is unexcelled for heat distribution and retention, so this casserole cooks foods evenly and gently at low temperatures without hot spots and is suitable for all heat sources. The plastic knob on its heavy, tight-fitting lid is ovenproof to 450 degrees F. This casserole is dishwasher safe and has loop handles for easy lifting.
