This has been a great fondue pot for us. We've only used it for cheese fondue so far, but we've used it a few dozen times by now and it is great. It's very well built, heavy, and made to last. We're considering buying another in the future if we'll be entertaining a lot.

Forged and crafted by hand since 1925, Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron cookware is a masterpiece. Each pieces is formed in its own sand mold and skillfully hand finished by more than 30 craftsmen. The result is a superior quality cookware that will provide a lifetime of everyday useFondue is one of those dinners that actively engages all ages and usually ends in laughter, as dueling forks often ensue and hunks of bread fall off into the melted cheese. The fondue set from Le Creuset is one of the most sturdy and attractive ones you'll find. Made of enameled cast iron, the black stand and colorful pot are extremely durable and resist chipping, cracking, staining, and odor absorption. Start by placing the pot on any gas, electric, induction, or ceramic stovetop burner to melt the cheese or chocolate (hot broth makes a good dip for slices of meat or fish). Then place the pot on the stand, where it will retain its heat admirably, especially when the burner underneath is lit.
