Customer Review: Beautiful addition to the kitchen

Le creuset is my coveted brand. I cannot really afford the cookware, so I collect the accessories. The spatula set in crock is wonderful. The spatulas are durable and really think. They are easily removable from the wooden handle so the can soak or go in the dishwasher without fear of ruining the wooden handle! The crock itself is also easy to clean and very durable.
My one tiny complaint is that I was only able to add 3 micro-planers to the crock for storage. So if you have a lot of utensils to display or organize, do not intend to add it to this fully loaded crock.
I highly recommend this set for a splash of color, and quality, to your kitchen.

These are great spatulas. They have virtually replaced all of my other cooking utensils. I tend to favor the larger ones but will use the smaller ones in a pinch. I have to remember to pop the heads off to wash so the wood handles do not swell and warp in water. I do put the heads in the dishwasher and they come out fine. I have not had a problem with the heads slipping off during use if I pay attention to putting the larger heads on the larger handles. The red is BRIGHT!
I got these through a corporate gift program so they did not cost me anything...I question whether I would spend the money on them though. They are expensive spatulas!

I received my set with the purchase of the 7 1/4 Qt. French oven(red), free.
While I do not mind paying top dollar for the best, this "gift" seemed to ease the pain. I use one or more item in the set every day! and it is very useful, from heat resistance to stain resistance the product works! The items in the set are thought out by people in the kitchen, from the kitchen, for the kitchen. What more can I say,
If given as a present to someone, the receipient will think of the gifter every time they enter the kitchen. They are a good deal better than any other spatula I've ever used. SPF

This set is gorgeous to look at; it adds color to your kitchen. And some times it's actually useful, too.
Of the 6 pieces provided (the 7th is the holder itself), I'd say I use probably 3 of them. The basting brush is nice, but it's too small. The two smaller spetulas I doubt I will use regularly since they are just too small. That leaves 3 useful pieces.
I'm not as bothered since this came free with my order of the 5-piece cookware set. Otherwise, I won't buy this. There are much better ways to decorate the kitchen.

I purchased this set at Tuesday Morning without the crock for 19.99, what a deal! I don't know about the pastry brush as I am still generally suspicious of these silicone things but I love love love the spatula-spoon and the teeny weeny scraper is great for getting the last of the jar of peanut butter, jam or mayo out of the jar. Best of all it is made in the usa, is a quality product with real wood handles! That's enough of a reason for me to buy it!
