Well I use these handy helpers everyday of the week. From stirring to mixing to scraping. They are definately multi-purpose. I once left a spatula in a pot and it did not melt just a little discoloration( i left it for a VERY long time though!)
Cleanup is simple and I like the fact that you can remove the head from the handle. The only thing I don't like about them is that they retain odors NOT flavors though. But you know how it feels if your spatula smells like onions and you are stirring up cake batter! Overall I give then 4 stars. I woulda given them five if it weren't for the funky part!lol.

I bought this same set at an outlet mall (much better price, but same product).
They are very well built and have stood up to just about anything I can throw at them from heat to various sauces. They have never melted, scorched or stained so far! Even though they have wood handles, there is a protective finish that keeps them from staining. I did place one through the dishwasher (not recommended) and it came out fine too.
They have replaced all of my miscellaneous pieces I have had laying around and now I have an attractive addition to my kitchen as well.

This utensil set goes great with my white kitchen and red accessories. I found the spatula set to be very useful, however, please don't use with tomato based sauces, especially if it has olive oil, or any type of oil for that matter. It stained the wooden handles. I have also found it difficult to remove the tops of the spatulas. It says that they are removable, but I have managed only to remove some of them to get the dough out of.Overall, they work well.
They have been through the dishwasher, left in hot pots while I answered the phone, so they are pretty durable.

The crock may rock, but the spatulas rule! The crock is nice and heavy; my old crock would occassionally tip and spill when I reached for something quickly. I LOVE the spatulas. They have proved up to any task I have done so far, from stir frying over high heat to scraping cake batter from a bowl. In addition to all the features mentioned by previous reviewers I think the best thing is that I have not yet found a substance that will stick to them - no more beating the implement against the side of a pan.Customer Review: Already the best I own

I've owned a lot of rubber spatulas but these are by far the best I've ever had. They are thick, flexible, strong and durable. They have wooden handles which means they don't bend when you use them. The spatula part can be removed to clean the handle without soaking the wood. The crock is wonderful with a deep red color. It matches my tomato pot perfectly. You could probably cook in the crock! Bake bread or something. It's almost a shame to just use it for storage. I love this set.
