I was bummed when I cancelled my gold box deal for the red spatula set thinking I wouldn't be getting a Staub cocotte and then finding out that I would be. I ordere this Citrus set because a merchant offered the best price. I got it today and it is very sweet and the subtle contrast of the yellow to the beige interior couldn't be nicer. I'm sure the contrast would have looked harsher in red. The slotted spatula and the brush are a lighter color than the other pieces. The wood handle ends taper and have a hole for hanging on a hook unlike the individually sold large spoon spatula I bought that has a straight wood stick for a handle, no tapering, no hole.
p.s. I only noticed after purchasing the set that tv cooks including Sara Moulton uses them on her cooking show and their handles are squared off not tapered with a hole as these are. Why?
