Great looking Casserole. Adds real personality to your stove.
We leave it out to display when not using it. It is as advertised
and pictured (don't understand the other reviewer's comments
unless they shipped them the wrong product - tomato instead
of the apple maybe...)
Cooks well like any Le Creuset pot and is a quality item but not
cheap.

Suitable for the oven or for browning meat and sweating vegetables on gas, electric, induction, or ceramic ranges, and delightful to behold on the countertop when not in use, the casserole is made of cast-iron and clad inside and out in Le Creuset's famous bright enamel, which won't absorb odors or flavors and readily scrubs clean. As cast-iron is unexcelled for heat distribution and retention, the casserole cooks foods evenly and gently without hot spots. The knob on its heavy, tight-fitting lid is ovenproof to 450 degrees F.
