Because my cat has a penchant for overgrooming, she is very susceptible to forming hairballs. And not just any hairballs, we're talking hairballs that will be hurk'ed up anywhere and everywhere -- bed, chair, computers, keyboards, and of course all over the carpet.
The vet told me to give her Laxatone every day, but at $15 a tube from him that was going to break me. I was happy to find the same size tube at Amazon.com for half the price! 4.5 oz doesn't sound like a lot, but this size tube will last a good 2 months, giving it once a day. With cats that don't overgroom like Maggie, dosing once a week, the tube will likely last 6 months.
She's always loved hairball medication, never been an issue for her to take it, and she thinks she's in heaven because she gets a dose every day. And no more hairball problems, either! I recommend this product -- it's effective, it's inexpensive, and it's not only vet-approved, it's Maggie-approved!
