I have now owned this for 7 months and use it every day for grinding pet meds. All other mortar/pestles I have seen have the problem of slight grooves on the inside from the milling process. The grooves make it difficult to get all the powder out. This StainlessLUX product is smooth inside and discharges its contents with no problems. It has a good weight. The pestle has enough heft to make the job quick and easy.
I recently noticed a slight problem on the underside of my mortar. I emailed StainlessLUX to ask about it. I received a response within 30 minutes and my concerns were addressed immediately and professionally. I usually don't write product reviews, but I feel I should give a plug for a great product backed by a responsive and friendly company. I don't work for them, I was simply impressed by them.
