Customer Review: Tough Toy and Loud!

My dog really loves this toy, however, one should be warned that it is quite loud, so be prepared. I had to cut off the tentacles that stick out, as I noticed that my dog started to chew those off right after I gave the toy to her. She chews the heck out of this thing and it has held up, making it worth the purchase.
Though my dog really loves playing with this toy, she does tend to get very excited and it can take her a while to calm down after play-time is over. For instance, there was a time I gave her the toy right before having guests over at the house. As a result, I keep her toys by Ruffian (she also has the frog) out of reach and give them to her at appropriate times of the day and keep play sessions short. Though, there are rare instances where she will play with the toy and then fall asleep with it, which perplexes me, as it almost always excites her!
