Customer Review: Handle with care!

After years of wrestling cardboard tree boxes in and out of the attic, we bought two of these for our two 7' trees this year. I don't expect them to last through another two seasons of use.
Our trees are full and both fit into the bags and zipped up. They were very heavy (especially the pre-lit tree) compared to having been stored in separate tree sections previously. I'm skeptical that an 8' or 9' tree would fit inside. One of our trees only breaks into two sections, and the bag was barely long enough. The pole looked like it could easily poke a hole through one end. (Make sure to put the pole on the end with the handle so it's less likely to poke through.) A three-section tree fits fine, though.
They withstood being carried upstairs, although when we started to drag one by the only end handle, the seam started to rip. Don't drag these -- lift only! Unfortunately, on the trip up into the attic (up the pull-down stairs, through the hole in the ceiling), both bags were ripped in several places by the metal stair joints. I even saw it coming and we tried to maneuver around them, but the bags were just too wide and they shredded. Next year we'll try cinching the branches down before we put them in the bag.
SO, I think these would be fine if they're treated well and not crammed through holes past pointy metal things. Remember: no dragging and strap down the branches if it needs to be maneuvered into a tight place. The pole goes on the end with the handle. Also, since there's only one end handle and middle handles, it seems designed to be carried by one strong person with a good back.
On a side note, our toddler and preschool loved playing inside of them. Merry Christmas!
