Customer Review: The best system out there

I have the v1.0 of the laptop lunch system (I bought it before they came out with 2.0) and I love it. My 2nd grader takes it to school every day. There is another kid at her school (in another grade) with a laptop lunch, and she doesn't seem to have any issues with anyone not thinking it's cool. The other kids actually seem a little jealous (wishing they could trade) when she gets shrimp kabobs (I cut the skewers with a scissors to fit in one of the containers, or I take the 2 larger containers out and cover loosely with some saran wrap) or English muffin pizza (I use a knife and cut the edges off to make it fit into the large container, put tomato sauce on the 2 halves, close them, and shove some mozzerella cheese in the extra space so she can put it on top herself). The smaller containers make me remember to put a vegetable and a fruit in her lunch.
It's forced me to be a little bit creative for her lunches, also because she doesn't like peanut butter & jelly (which is what my mom always packed for me), and I haven't been tempted to buy pre-packaged things because they don't fit in the lunch box (the single serve apple sauce is about the only thing that does fit). I also try to be a little bit creative so that her lunch does look cool and appetizing, so that hopefully I won't hear that it's uncool to have that lunch box.
I don't care for the plastic drink bottle that comes with the system, the ones we had leaked. Instead, I buy the "Naked" smoothie drink, and the squarish bottle fits perfectly next to the laptop lunch, and doesn't leak. We reuse that bottle with water until someone loses the lid, and then I just buy another smoothie. The silverware is also pretty cheap, but I usually just put some of our metal silverware in the box instead.
