Description of LamsonSharp 8-Inch Stainless Steel Bread Knife
LamsonSharp's Rosewood series stamped cutlery feature oiled rosewood handles that are extremely durable. The blades are one-piece full tang, made from hardened and tempered high-carbon stainless steel from the USA. The blades are also taper-ground, polishBecause LamsonSharp hones each blade by hand, these knives have the razor-sharp cutting edge needed to slide through the crustiest loaves of bread and the ripest tomatoes without tearing their delicate interiors. The sturdy 8-inch blade is stamped from heavy-gauge high-carbon stainless steel. Although rosewood handles are dishwasher-safe, it is best to hand wash fine cutlery like this in warm, soapy water. Regular use of a butcher's steel will maintain the slicer's sharpness. Oil the handle occasionally with food-grade mineral oil to maintain its luster. --Jill Marquis
