I've bought several journals with high hopes of consistently writing and on the advice of others. I would write for a few days and simply lose interest and stop. This journal is the first one that motivates me to write. It's perfect size to carry with me (briefcase or loose) and I thoroughly enjoy writing on the hand crafted paper! I guess it feels like I'm writing an ancient manuscript; I sincerely look forward to writing in it! I've also received a lot of comments on the style and texture. I've been using mine now for over a month and with no slowdown in sight!

Famed for its long and resilient fibers Lotka creates an extremely durable paper with a subtle sheen and a smooth surface which will accept most drawing media. Each Lama Li journal is hand crafted by Nepalese village co-operatives that benefit directly from your purchase.Lama Li Classic Leather books are made with soft brown leather covers. Each book is stitch bound to lay flat when in use. They feature a wrap-around leather tie to keep the book closed when not in use.
