This L.E. Smith Glass Company Hobnail Glass 8-Inch Plate matches the 8-Inch and 10 1/2-Inch Hobnail Glass Cake (Pedestal) Plates. These rétro-inspired, handmade dessert plates would also be perfect for individual antipasti, hors d'oeuvres, canapés, or crudités--especially during a cocktail hour before a sit-down dinner. These plates would also be nice for an after dinner salad, cheese, or fruit course. Even though these Glass Dessert Plates are dishwasher-safe, I recommend hand-washing.

Even though this is called a dessert plate, it's the perfect size for just about anything from snacks and appetizers to salads and small entrées--and, of course, dessert. Made of clear glass with an old-fashioned raised-dot design (the plate's top is smooth, the dots are underneath), the plate can be mixed and matched with its sister plates in four other colors--lime, ice blue, pink, and amber--for a different table setting every time you eat.
