Customer Review: Best Kitchen Shears I Have Used!

These are really sharp and useful kitchen shears. They are so efficient, in fact, you must be careful how you use them. They can cut through meat, chicken bones, cardboard, plastic packaging- solves virtually any cooking situation. KUHN RIKON is the Swiss designer and I love the ergonomic feel of the handles and the quality of the stainless blades. The bottom blade is serrated to offer greater cutting power. The blades are spring loaded and easy to engage. Comes in three colours (black, red and green) with a protective snap-on cover. The ULTIMATE 2710 model is self sharpening so you save on maintenance. It is also a tad larger than the 2706 model (10 inches vs. 8 inches long, 2.5 inches wide vs. 2 inches) so it provides more slicing leverage as a result. Can't be beat for the money and by the looks of these they should last me a long, long while. One disappointment, though. I thought these were manufactured in Switzerland. They are, in fact, Chinese!
