I asked for this at Xmas and replaced it today. I've tried living with it for two months but I give up. The simple act of opening it loses grounds everywhere. I selected the Cuisinart with a removable cup to replace it. You can find this one at the Salvation Army.Customer Review: Beware- Achilles heel !

Very disappointed. I have bought TWO of these grinders. A very small piece of plastic broke off the cap of the first one, making it inoperable! The plastic started breaking off the lip of the second one. It's a great grinder but unfortunately it has flimsy parts.Customer Review: Like coffee grounds?

The product is an efficient coffee bean grinder that leaves coffee grounds all over the drainboard. It is nearly impossible, for me at least, to grind beans and open the grinder without spreading grounds all over the grinding surface.Customer Review: Great Spice Grinder

Can't say how this works with coffee, but it works great on spices and seeds. Quickly turns rosemary leaf into rosemary powder; something our old grinder really had trouble doing. This is the best of all the coffee grinders available. It's fast, complete and makes the grind fine. After my old (15 years) one stopped working it was a quick choice to replace it with a new one of the same. Love this product.
