I have nothing to compare this to as I have never owned another grinder, so I will just give my opinion. I have used this for pill grinding so far and it has done an incredible job, my 12 pills go from huge to powder in about 10 seconds. It operates easily with the simple press of a button. Ever get something small and someone says, oh, how cute, but where is its daddy? Well, look no further, this coffee grinder is great! I use it for spices, not coffee, but who cares? The hardest part is figuring out how to open it without reading the manual. LOL It twists and locks, instead of just sliding straight down.Customer Review: Good Product

Used this product for a month now. Works great. Easy to clean. Only complaint is it takes several seconds to get a good medium/fine grind for coffee beans, which in turn you run the risk of burning your coffee grounds. Some of beans don't always grind so you'll find whole beans in your filter occasionally.Customer Review: Very high quality

This is a coffee grinder of kings. Compared to the usual good grinders, it is large, heavy, powerful and very quiet. The chamber is much larger than usual. Due to thick construction it can be used without fear of waking people up. You can tell people it cost you $100 and they will believe you.Customer Review: SPICE GRINDING

I purchased this grinder specifically for pepper grinding which requires fairly fine powder. This grinder works great for this and was exactly what I had wanted. I am sure coffee is good as well, but if looking for an electric spice grinder, this one is one of the best expecially for the money.
