Customer Review: Good product, manual is unclear in several places

Very pleased with the coffeemaker; however, I had a difficult time setting the clock. The manual wording seemed out of order. I was never able to get the clock to stablize to show the time. It would show it, but it would continue flashing the 8888 screen, apparently expecting me to enter a time to begin the coffee. I only wanted the clock to be viewed and not programmed. Anyway, it works very well and I guess I will go back to easier jobs like setting up computer networks!Customer Review: as good, the second time around

This is our second Krups FME4-14. I broke the first one...oops! and we can't fault them. I kocked the carafe off of the counter while vaccuuming, and unfortunately it broke, so when I asked my wife what she wanted to replace it, she said another the same. The store we bought it from no longer had them in stock, so I came to Amazon. Should have done that first, it was cheaper than I saw anywhere else on the internet, and it arrived well before it was expected. Thank youCustomer Review: Water runs out the back

I used this coffee maker one week when the water, when filled, would run out the back onto the counter. I contacted Krups, they sent an UPS shipping label, I mailed it to them for their servicing (they were very nice) and it has been about a month, and still havent gotten it back.
My former Krups I really liked-too bad it died, this one worked well too. We'll see how it works when I get it back. Things just aren't made very well these days, even new things.

I've been using this coffee maker everyday, sometimes more often, and find that it's design is superior to previous coffee makers I've owned and I've owned alot of them over the years. Adding & removing coffee grounds is the best part of this coffee maker because the grounds holder lifts off the machine for easy grounds removal and cleaning. The 1100 watt element makes coffee much faster than other models too. You won't be disappointed with the Krups FME4.Customer Review: not worth it

I wanted a basic coffeemaker that make decent coffee. I do not expect this coffeemaker to brew the best considering the price point. But, directions were unclear, the water filtration stick, what a gimmick...
Also, I have used this coffee maker, my husband used it and we are yet to pour a cup of coffee without it spilling out over my counter! Coffee spills out of the carafe as you pour...
I will probably invest in a better machine next time.
