Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Krups 203-42 Electric Spice and Coffee Grinder with Stainless Steel Blades, BlackCustomer Review: I use mine to grind spices :) Summary: 5 Stars
I guess since I am not using this product everyday, it has not blown up yet :). I was laughing as I read the other reviews. I think a product that you use everyday isn't going to last as long as you might expect it to.
On the other hand, if you use this product for just spices, it will last quite a while. When making curry, I find it much easier to just spin the spices into powder form. When I used to drink more coffee, yes, this did not last as long. I am onto my second one. It is just so convenient and small and fits in the back of the cupboard nicely.

Customer Review: Good Coffee Grinder Summary: 5 Stars
I have never owned a coffee grinder before but this one seems to work pretty good for the price. It creats fine grounds. If you continue to leave the grinder button on it will start to create a layer of wet grounds around the inside of the grinder, but I would assume that this would be the case for any grinder because of the revolutions. Not a big problem for me. I tend to pulse the grinder through my grinding periodand shake the canister a bit. Then you can turn the grinder upside down and tap the top of the grinder on the counter to release and stuck grounds. Great buy and would recommend.
Customer Review: Great value 4 basic grinder Summary: 4 Stars
The Krups replaced a similar Braun I had for many years; it works great for my usage which is a grind for a drip coffeemaker. It quickly makes a pretty fine grind and I don't think you could get a consistently coarser grind by shortening the time.
Taking off the lid and dumping grounds into the filter is not nearly as messy as the Braun. Like most grinders it leaves some grind residue in the bottom but that's to be expected. The lid attracts very little grinds.
The only feature missing with the Krups is the wrap around cord storage which I had in the base of the Braun.
Customer Review: Flax grinder, supreme! Summary: 5 Stars
I don't drink coffee, but I needed a grinder for flax seeds. I read a lot of reviews and finally settled on this little machine and love it! I was afraid I couldn't find a grinder that could grind flax seed fine enough, but this one does just that in seconds! And it doesn't overheat the flax because it grinds so quickly.
My only complaint would be that I wish I could grind more flax at once (I can grind about 1/2 cup at a time), but that is a small gripe, especially since I like how compact the unit is. Since I can't get the best of both worlds, I think this item is wonderful!
Customer Review: excellent grinder, short cord! Summary: 4 Stars
Those who recommend this grinder for its speed and quality are right on the money. I have nothing to add to the existing comments--the grinder does a great job. However, I bought this grinder to replace an earlier model and one thing I noticed right away is that the new model comes with a ridiculously short cord.
The old grinder has a cord that is about 50" long, while the new one is only 26". You literally have to stand at the counter to use this grinder. I know they save some money by switching to less expensive materials but this is an annoying feature.
