I don't typically store food in anything plastic, but decided to try this out for lunches. The plastic is hard, and dense. While sturdy, I'm not sure how it would take a fall on a hard surface like concrete. At first I thought it might be good for kids, but perhaps it might not take a the abuse. The design & drcoration is fun.
The bento box is small, yet effecient. Plenty of room for a satisfying lunch or plenty of snacks. It would easily slip into a large bag for commuting. The bottom compartment is spacious and the second level has a sealable lid & loose sauce tray. All held together with an oversized band - which could be easy to lose. Makes lunch a bit more fun to take to work or on outings.
