Customer Review: Coke Personal Fridge Drains Battery!

The little fridge works OK, but if you leave it plugged into your cig lighter overnight, when you get in your car the next morning, the car battery will be dead. Carry a set of jumper cables!
The catch on the door was hard to figure out - you have to slide it left or right, instead of pulling on it.
The fridge works OK, and will keep the contents 30 degrees below the car interior as advertized, but watch out for your battery!

Just received this late yesterday..was pleasantly surprised to see a new type of door opener...from prior reviews this seems to have been a point of contention. Just push the door and the latch clicks closed..to open just pull the little recessed handle and she pops open. Let it set plugged in to A/C overnight and was again surpised to see 39.2 degrees, measured with a digital thermometer left inside..if it lasts, I will be a happy camperCustomer Review: Coca Cola KWC-4 personal fridge

I purchased this for my wife one year ago and the first thing to go was the little handle to open the door. People tried to pull on the handle instead of turning. After one year of use, the fan made noise and finally stopped working. I took the unit apart and was able to purchase another muffin fan from a local electronics store for $22, almost half what I paid for the fridge. Now the unit works fine ,, hopefully for at least another year.Customer Review: Not cold enough

I purchased this product last week and have had 6 cans of soda cooling in it for 5 days now. This morning I opened one of the cans and was very disappointed. The soda was only slightly cooler than room temperature. I then opened a can of soda that had been sitting out in my overhead filing cabinet all weekend and it was basically the same temperature. Well, this mini=fridge is very tiny, and a little loud because of the fan, but it does a pretty good job of cooling things off. I use it in my room sometimes and when I want to take it places with me, it is very portable and light so I can put it in a bag and go. Overall, I give this product 3 stars, because I think there might be a few nicer ones out there to purchase, but for the money this isn't a bad deal and its got a cute design.
