We have increasingly troublesome mice - last year I had to resort to poison for the annual invasion, as the usual kinds of snap traps were no longer working. This year, even the poison was having only limited effect, so I went looking for new kinds of traps. These were the second different variety of snap trap (my first choice was left untouched), and they worked just fine! Within a half hour of laying them out I was getting customers (no repeat business, though, hehe). For the first time since September, I don't have company in the evening - mice scampering across the floor, thumbing their noses at me and making rude remarks..
They do everything claimed for them; they're easy to set, secure (no painful surprises), they catch mice, and they're easy to discard the mice from and wash off.

Amazing! We have had an annoying mouse for several months now. It has avoided the electric traps, poison, our curious kitten, and several other useless mouse traps. After reading the rave reviews (and poem) about the Snap-E Mouse Trap, I decided to purchase two trap units. Not wanting to view a dead mouse, I set up the trap in a brown paper lunch bag and baited it with a piece of raisin cookie. I aimed the bag opening towards the front of my stove where we have seen the mouse run under many times. I started watching a movie and forgot all about it. Less than a few hours later we heard the snap. The mouse made no sounds, but the brown paper back shook for a few moments and that was it. Quick and easy. I've lived for thirteen years next to miles of open fields in Colorado. I have to catch lots of mice. I've been using this trap for the past two years. It's perfect. It always kills instantly, never maims. It has never misfired. It's easy to set, and doesn't go off in my hand as I'm putting it in place. It's reusable. I've caught over 30 mice with just a few traps. Every one has been an instant, clean kill.
I once caught a mouse in a "humane" trap in the garage, and forgot it. The caged mouse died of thirst. No more of that for me. My old style wooden traps often caught the mouse by the paw, so I had to kill him myself. I don't enjoy that either. This SnapE trap is indeed the best way to deal with mice.

We are remodeling our home and had a mouse move through a crack in the temporary wall. We bought a d-con circular mouse trap from a home improvement store that was supposed to rotate shut after the mouse goes in it but instead we saw the mouse go in and come right out. We then ordered the Snap-E trap, bated it with a small piece of cheese and it caught the mouse the first day we used it. But like all traditional mouse traps, the sight of the trapped mouse is not a pleasant sight. The trap is reusable if you release the mouse, but I chose to put the whole thing in a paper bag to throw away so I would not have to look at the mouse anymore than I already had.Customer Review: Entirely Pets charges $4.00 shipping PER TRAP

Just bought these traps. Went to purchase and realized that I was being charged $20 shipping for 5 traps. EntirelyPets charges $4.00 per trap! Outrageous. There are several others that charge a total of about $4-5 for your order.
Now - to the trap itself: best trap out there. I've tried electronic humane traps as well as many, many different snap traps. These work very well. Deep well in which to put the food. It has snapped a couple of times without leaving the guilty party but that is probably inevitable. Bottom line: great trap, very inexpensive. I've never been able to find it anywhere except amazon.
