First off, I'll echo all the other 5 star reviews you'll read here - they are all true. Been there, done that, got the Tshirt. Wooden traps - forget 'em. Glue boards ditto, don't work. I was not going to spend $50-100 on an electronic trap! At 2 bucks a piece these are absolutely unbelievably good! Can't emphasize that enough!
I caught 4 mice in 4 traps set the first night in my garage, when I'd had 4 old-style traps set in there for a month, with stolen baits and traps tripped with no dead mice. I'm a skeptic, I read the reviews, and figured I'd take a chance.
If you have mice, chipmunks, etc., don't hesitate, get these Snap-E Mouse traps. Easy to set, easy to empty, extremely effective, very good value! I'm buying more now.... and make sure you buy them from Discount Pest Supply on Amazon, they are a great vendor!

I tried all the other the other traps (except sticky paper which is cruel) but the mice just laughed at them. They'd steal the bait and disappear until I put more food out again, when they'd refill. Then I saw the amazon reviews about this trap so I tried it out of desperation. It's very easy to set up; I just used a little dab of peanut butter and snapped the trigger into place. Then I went to sleep. When I awoke I found that the trap had done its job. Same result the next morning...and the next...until there were no more. Amazing, so easy. Thanks to the other reviewers who recommended this very effective trap.
P.S. I put it in a shoe box in which I cut one side so that side lays down flat. Mice check in, but they don't check out. Makes the cleanup so easy, and my wife likes it because she can't see what's in the box!

We first found this model of mousetrap by accident a couple of years ago. It happened to be stocked at the local hardware store when we needed traps. This review reflects experience since that first purchase. Our mice seem to be on IQ boosters. Standard wooden traps are robbed without exception. Jaw traps are ignored. Electronic traps have yet to catch a single rodent. Live traps remain empty. We have had Snap-E traps robbed as well, but the theft frequency is very low. Once caught, the mouse is easily disposed, and there is no need for direct hand contact with the remains. The trap is easily cleaned. The trap is easy to bait and set. When we recently decided that more traps were needed and then discovered that they were no longer locally available, we were very happy to find them here on Amazon.Customer Review: Works in a snap

Someone finally built a better mousetrap. Worked like a charm. Worked in a snap and I got my mouse.
The look is the same and the function is the same as a standard mousetrap. The construction and effectiveness has been improved making the trap easy to bait and easy to set. The trap is reusable, releases your dead mouse easily without you touching it, and built to last for many uses.
So if you want increased efficiency in catching your mouse every time instead of a rodent mishap. If you want to go greener, instead of littering the land field with disposable traps, then purchase this mousetrap, Snap-E Mouse Trap. You can save by purchasing 2, 4, and 6-packs. I would purchase this again.

Plain and simple...
Built to last... ( heavy plastic )
Precision trigger device .... ( not many can steal the peanut butter and get away with this gem )
Dump that dead mouse without touching it ... ( just pull back the top bar and the dead mouse drops right out from under the "killing bar" without having to touch it )
Easy to set .... ( no more fiddling with the bar as on old style mousetraps to get it "just right" )
Plenty of power ... ( to me, the spring snap power seems to be quite a bit more than the normal trap )
"Thank you" to the Snap-E Company for making such a great product. It's well worth a few dollars more to get something that's this well engineered and easy to use. It most definitely is the "Better Mousetrap".
