...but the quality of these traps forced me to comment.
I had tried everything. Humane traps. Regular traps. Sticky traps. My girlfriend and I had even caught the little buggers ourselves. We would corral them into a sack that she was holding. Nothing worked to get rid of the mice in my apartment.
Then I found "ole" Snap-E.
The results? The very first time I used the trap, I caught two (count 'em, 2) mice in the trap. AT THE SAME TIME! The next night, guess what? 2 more mice, same trap. Later that day, you guessed it, 2 more. I'm not making it up. 3 days, 6 mice.
My trapping success continues to this day.
The design makes it so they can't steal the bait (which happened with every other snap trap I used). The bar is easily reset, allowing for easy disposal of your victims and easy resetting of the trap. Plus the trigger is extra sensitive, making more hits possible.
Don't waste your money on other inferior products. Use Snap-E.

I read a few of the reviews here so that's what made me buy two of these here at amazon.com. These mice traps are the best. I bought two of them
and I have gotten 4 mice already in less then one week. I would use the
old fashion wooden ones but when I would check, the cheese was gone most
of the time and those seem to work only 20% of the time. With these, the cheese and peanut butter go into the little
hole and the mice have to touch the circle around the bait and that causes
the trap to get the mice. I will order 2 or more because sometimes the mice
run out of the floor furnace and run into my sisters room. And so, I'm sure
it will catch one there. I killed one with peanut butter and I set the
trap the next day but nothing happened so I thought....either all of the
mice have gone or I need to add some cheese this time..so I added some
cheese at night and a few hours later...I saw the dead mice. And these
are reusable so that's great too.

For so long catching mice was like fishing... you yank the line, reel it in, and realize your bait is gone off your empty hook... no fish! In disappointment you sigh, "They stole my bait, robbed me clean". If you are a very poor fisherman you add "again" at the end. I had experienced the same with catching mice; come to the trap, bait would be gone, trap snapped and... no mice. Suckered! "They stole my bait, robbed me clean... again".
I eventually got tired of simply feeding the mice at my house, read lots of reviews, looked at lots of traps and finally ordered these little guys.
These mouse trapping miracles actually worked.
Quit snapping yourself while baiting old wooden traps (and yes I am saying this from experience).
Quit feeding your fat mice.
Quit looking at empty traps.
Quit getting robbed.
Quit reading reveiws... and buy these traps!

I've lived out in the "sticks" as well as in the city of Philadelphia and this snap mouse trap is the best. There are different categories for mice catching and this trap is best snap trap by far.
There are:
Snap traps (dead mouse)
Electronic traps (dead mouse)
Glue traps (live but very upset mouse)
Poison (dying mouse running around the house)
Live catch traps (live mouse ready to be set free)
Anyhow, back to this trap- I've used the wooden traps and even the live catch door traps but this one works the best.
Some mice can figure out the wooden traps and either set them off without being caught, or take the bait without setting the trap off at all.
Not with this trap!
I have not had a miss fire or bait stolen in over 2 dozen catches.
This trap in combination with tootsie roll bait has been extremely effective.

I just bought 6 of these from ebay. I used 3 of them placing around my kitchen area with peanut butter. Within 12 hours, 7 mouses were caught!
The 3 traps have not missed even once. It is very easy to set and to remove the mouse without even touching the mouse. Actually, the removal of the dead mouse and resetting the trap for the next round can be done in one motion.
Astonished by the awesome results, my wife wanted to take 2 to give to my mom-in-law. The remmaining last of the six-pack is now being placed at my work place because I have seen some droppings.
I remember there was a reviewer commenting that the hook was built with plastic therefore should be worn out after few snaps but in my case, I do not see any worn-out problem, the plastic hook used for setting still looks new after multiple snaps. I have an impression that it is made of harden and durable plastic.
